This March, True Lacrosse is bringing elite level training for players of all skill levels! Goalie Academy, Defense Academy, Offense Academy, and Futures Academy. This will be led by NJ Director, Mike Squillante and the high energy New Jersey Staff. The NJ Staff is filled with former collegiate players who prioritize player development!
Futures Academy
This is training opportunity for youth players that are new to the sport. Any players with little to no experience will have the opportunity to work on fundamentals, progress to more advanced concepts, and build a love for the sport! This will be run by True Lacrosse Coaches who each have 10+ years experience coaching and playing the sport!

True New Jersey wants to help you prepare for the spring season with our Spring Prep sessions for boys & girls in grad years 2027-2032!
Throughout the month of February, our top coaches will work with players to help them take their game to the next level. We'll work on fundamentals, lacrosse IQ, and real game scenarios to equip players with everything they need to step on the field with confidence come spring!
These sessions will ensure your player is ready for any competition and that their spring season will be a fun and successful one!

TRAIN ALL WINTER LONG WITH TRUE
Stay on top of your skills and improve your game this winter with our True NJ Winter Training! This developmental program is for players who want to compete at an elite level.
We've designed this training series to get players' skills in the very best shape. High rep, fast-paced, efficient training will equip players with the rigorous and consistent training they need to get ahead of the competition throughout the winter and head into the spring season ready to play.
Open to any player in the area regardless of what club you play for. Free to current True Lacrosse players!

- 0-2: Intro and warm-up
- 3-20: Stick Work: L passing, 3 man line drills (exiter passing for advanced group). We will discuss "power position" vs "loaded position" and protecting our sticks away from defenders.
- 21-45: Position Specific Work: All groups will include high reps and teaching!
- Offense: Dodge progression, shooting form, inside finishing, and feeding.
- Defense: Footwork, approaches, gb's, and stickwork.
- Goalies: Positioning, stance and hand placement, footwork, reaction, and pipe to pipe.
- 46-65: Numbers: 3v2 and 4v3 scenarios. Ensure the players communicate, move the ball, and keep spacing.
- 66-85: Compete: Army GBs. Working on transition scenarios and getting the boys to move the ball off the ground.
- 86-90: Ball Hunt and Recap
